仿唐大雄寶殿

Main Buddha Hall (Tang-Dynasty style Architecture)

加國五台山大雄寶殿係唐風古建，仿照中國山西五台山唐代建築佛光寺東大殿而造。中國山西佛光寺東大殿為中國現存規模最大的唐代木構建築。

The Main Buddha Hall is a wooden temple, styled after the UNESCO World Heritage site East Hall of the Foguang Temple in Wutai County, Shanxi province of China, which was built in 857 C.E. and is the largest wooden temple still standing in China today. Its construction showcases the ancient Chinese construction technique of using large wooden interlocking brackets called “dougong” without a single nail.
